Forget dainty. Forget decorative. FoundRae’s new “La Loba Claw” isn’t jewelry—it’s a declaration.
Designer Beth Hutchens is expanding the brand’s famed Protection collection with the La Loba Claw, a fierce 18k gold and gemstone talisman inspired by the mythical she-wolf—the guardian of instinct, freedom, and feminine power.
“I’ve always believed jewelry can be more than adornment—it’s a tool of self-expression and self-discovery,” Hutchens says. “The wolf claw nods to the ancient association of the she-wolf with protecting the soul—fierce, loyal, and defiant.”
From Shakira’s “She Wolf” anthem to Roman mythology’s tale of Romulus and Remus, the she-wolf has long symbolized independence and intuition. Hutchens channels that same primal energy into sculptural pendants featuring pavé diamonds, black ceramic, and deep green gemstones, all rooted in FoundRae’s dual tenets of Protection and Resilience.
This marks the first time in a decade FoundRae has introduced new symbols to the Protection series. The La Loba Claw joins motifs like shields and horseshoes, which Hutchens says “express both our Protection and Resilience tenets together—defending against what holds us back while empowering us to thrive.”

One standout? The Onyx Stone Engravable Shield with La Loba Claw ($14,800), designed to be personalized with messages or symbols—turning a piece of fine jewelry into an amulet of survival.

And then there’s the Resilience and La Loba Claw Orbit Extension necklace ($48,100), combining pavé diamonds with black ceramic—a modern armor for those who live by their own rules.
More than a design, La Loba is a rebellion in gold—a reminder that the most powerful jewelry doesn’t just adorn, it awakens.
