The Association of Intelligent Diamond International (AIDI) is an international non-profit organization registered in Australia.

    At present, AIDI has branches\Rep. Office\partners in Beijing(China), Zhengzhou(China), Shanghai(China), Shenzhen(China), Vancouver(Canada), Los Angeles(USA), Bangkok(Thailand), Poland, Germany, Dubai(UAE) to guide and serve local members.

We believe INTELLIGENCE development is the foundation of the industry growth because the industry is producing standard technical products. AIDI aims to focus on each step of the whole value chain of lab diamonds, introduce innovative and intelligent concepts into the value chain, such as AI, block chain, data-oriented management & approach, and other scientific approaches.

We also believe the consumer needs will be the ultimate driving force of this industry because all industrial products which we produce will be transformed to create the consumer’s satisfaction. With the guidance of consumer-driven creativity, AIDI aims to fundamentally increase the product and brand value of the entire value chain for the lab diamond industry.

We are looking forward to working with the whole industry to create a healthy and prosperous market for lab diamonds.

  • Diamond standard

Herewith there are 3 points which help to create the brand-new standard should be mentioned.

    Point 1:

All diamonds are produced from the production line, which means all parts should be under control such as quality, size, color, shape, etc.

    Point 2:

Consumer’s understanding and satisfaction are key to the industry sustainable growth. The purpose of the standard is to communicate clear lab diamond concept and product messages to consumers in an easy way, not the opposite.

    Point 3:

Based on the above 2 points, at this stage, the standard pays less attention on CLARITY and PURITY which are already well controlled in the production line, and explore more in attributes such as COLOR, CUTTING, and SHAPE which can be created and developed in boundless possibility. And the same time, we also introduce Sustainable Growth standard to each diamond.

  • 1. Diamond Identification

    Methodology:

Using instruments such as infrared spectroscopy, ultraviolet spectroscopy, and electron microscopy, combined with methods such as microscopic observation, to identify cultivated diamonds

    Standard:

The physical and chemical properties are the same as natural diamond, both of which are equiaxed crystalline materials composed of carbon atoms. The Mohs hardness is 10, the density is 3.52 (±0.01) g/cm, the refractive index is 2.417, the dispersion value is 0.044, and the characteristic peak of the Raman spectrum is 1,332cm

    2. Carat:

    Methodology:

Use electronic scales or weighing sensors to measure the weight of cultivated diamonds

    Standard:

Carat as a standard weight measurement, such as 0.34Carat, 2.05Carat, etc

    3. Clarity

    Methodology:

Observation of cultivated diamonds using optical or electron microscopes

    Standard:

    Grade I (VVS, diamonds have extremely small internal and external characteristics under 10x magnification);

    Grade II (VS, diamonds have small internal and external features under 10x magnification);

Grade III (others, diamond exhibits distinct internal and external characteristics under 10x magnification or visible to the naked eye from the crown, diamonds have both internal and external characteristics).

    4. Color

    Methodology:

    Color scanner

    Standard:

    Pantone color

And we will continue to use Pantone color as the base to create more color standards, including multiple color lab diamonds

    5. Shape

EXCELLENT (EX) Perfect: Almost all incoming light is reflected

VERY GOOD (VG) is very good: it reflects light of standard cutting grade

Good (G): Reflects most of the light that enters the interior of the drill

FAIR (F) is average: it can also reflect light, but its performance is average

POOR (P) difference: If all cutting standards are not met, it means that the cutting is very poor

    6. Sustainable Growth

    Methodology:

AIDI arranges 3rd party to check and verify

    Standard:

    (1) Equipment requirements:

The equipment required for producing and cultivating diamonds should comply with relevant international regulations, such as using efficient and energy-saving equipment to reduce energy consumption and environmental pollution

    (2) Process requirements:

The production and cultivation of diamonds should comply with relevant international regulations, adopt efficient, energy-saving, green, and environmentally friendly process flow and technical parameters, and improve production efficiency and product quality

    (3) Intelligent new productivity:

Green and environmentally friendly energy, ethical production processes, sustainability, the introduction of new technologies such as AI in design, production, cutting and polishing
