· Fashion

Strawberries and cream wasn’t the only indulgence at Wimbledon—luxury watches were a throughline among its players and front-row fans. Here, we take a closer look at the most notable men’s and women’s timepieces spotted at the U.K. tennis tournament, which wrapped up yesterday.

Jannik Sinner

After overtaking defending champion Carlos Alcaraz for his first-ever Wimbledon title, Sinner (pictured at top) accepted his trophy with a Rolex Daytona “Sundust,” ref. 126515LN, on his wrist. The watch, in Everose gold with a pink dial and black subdials, retails for approximately $39,300.

David Beckham

Tudor Black Bay Chrono (standard) in steel

A Tudor ambassador since 2017, Beckham wore a Tudor Black Bay Chrono he received for his 50th birthday earlier this year. The one-of-a-kind piece features an elaborate enhancement: Its bezel and hour markers are encrusted with diamonds. While the cost of Beckham’s custom watch hasn’t been made public, a standard steel Chrono typically retails for $6,050, as listed on Tudor’s site.

Mirka Federer

Known for her watch collection, the former tennis pro—who’s married to eight-time Wimbledon champ Roger Federer—sported a platinum Rolex Day-Date, ref. 228396TEM, with an emerald-set bezel and a dial completely covered in diamonds. Federer’s custom creation is one of Rolex’s most exclusive models, valued at around $800,000.

Leonardo DiCaprio

Rolex Land-Dweller (reference 127334) in Oystersteel and white gold, $15,350

The actor was seen at Wimbledon wearing the recently released Rolex Land-Dweller, who sleek, integrated case and innovative Dynapulse escapement have been lauded as significant advances for both Rolex and contemporary watchmaking. DiCaprio’s 40 mm timepiece, ref. 127334, is made of Oystersteel and white gold, has a white honeycomb dial and an integrated flat jubilee bracelet, and is powered by Rolex’s new caliber 7135 movement, which incorporates Dynapulse.

Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra in steel

The Fantastic Beasts star, an ambassador for Swiss luxury watch brand Omega, has appeared in a promotional campaign for Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra, and that’s the model he wore at Wimbledon. It retails for $7,000, according to Omega’s site.

Jelena Djokovic

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Double Balance Wheel Openworked, ref. 15467OR.OO.1256OR.02, price on request

Djokovic supported her husband, Novak, through his run to the semifinals in an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Double Balance Wheel Openworked in 18k pink gold, ref. 15467OR.OO.1256OR.02. This 2024 release features a unique tone-on-tone movement that matches the gold 37 mm case and bracelet. Its innovative caliber 3132 includes two balance wheels for enhanced precision, elegantly framed by a rich purple flange.

Nick Jonas

Rolex Day-Date 40 in yellow gold with diamonds

Fresh off starring on Broadway in The Last Five Years, Jonas attended Wimbledon with wife Priyanka Chopra and made a statement with his vintage gold Rolex Day-Date watch, complete with elegant diamond detailing. A modern equivalent, the Day-Date 40 in yellow gold with diamonds, is priced at $102,750 on Rolex’s site.

Andrew Garfield

Omega De Ville Trésor in stainless steel and leather

Dressed in Ralph Lauren, the actor accessorized with an Omega De Ville Trésor—a steel timepiece with a black leather strap, priced at $7,400 on Omega’s site. As an ambassador for the brand, Garfield frequently sports Omega watches.

Tom Holland

Rolex Cosmograph Daytona in platinum, $79,300

Garfield’s successor at Spider-Man on screen, Holland showcased the highly sought-after Rolex Cosmograph Daytona in platinum. This gleaming watch, introduced in 2023, is celebrated for its luxurious attributes. Its dial is icy blue, a color Rolex reserves solely for its platinum creations, giving it status among connoisseurs. Another notable detail is the red “Daytona” inscription, characteristic of collectible editions. Moreover, Holland’s watch features a distinct upgrade: Instead of conventional applied markers, it has diamond-set indices, with 11 individual precious stones (and the Rolex coronet at the 12 o’clock position).

Russell Crowe

The Oscar winner drew attention for his vibrantly colored Rolex, a Cosmograph Daytona with distinctive turquoise dial. Often referred to as the “Tiffany Daytona” because of its blue hue, this watch has an 18k yellow gold case, a black Cerachrom bezel with a tachymetric scale, and a sporty yet comfortable black Oysterflex strap, which incorporates flexible metal blades over-molded with high-performance elastomer.
