Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are getting married, and we’ve got the details on her dazzling engagement ring.
The pair announced their engagement news earlier today, August 26. Or, as they put it in a joint Instagram post: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
Swift wore a black-and-white striped Ralph Lauren halter dress, brown Louis Vuitton heeled sandals, and a gold Cartier Santos Demoiselle Quartz watch with a diamond-encrusted face for her flower-filled engagement to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end. But, unsurprisingly, our eyes were trained on her ring.
Kelce worked with Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry to design the ring. Kelce popped the question with a brilliant-cut old mine diamond rounded at the corners, which was bezel-set in yellow gold with engraving on the side of the band. Clearly, there was no need to sacrifice any of the four C’s: the colorless diamond took up much of her left ring finger’s real estate.
Swift is in excellent company with her bezel-set engagement ring. Earlier this year, Zendaya arrived at the 2025 Golden Globes wearing a button-back Jessica McCormack ring; Charlie McDowell proposed to Lily Collins with a rose-cut bezel from designer Irene Neuwirth. The pop superstar already set the internet ablaze earlier this month when she announced her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl. Swift turned to Bob Mackie to help outfit her in authentic, sparkling Jubilee! showgirl costumes for her album promo—but now she’s got a new piece of bling. While this new record has already been deemed her orange era, we’re expecting to see Swift wearing plenty of white in the near future.
