A veteran of the group since the 1980s, Burke will now represent and promote LVMH’s strategic interests across both North and South America, during what the group describes as “a complex and evolving geopolitical period.”
He will report directly to Stéphane Bianchi, LVMH’s managing director.
Burke brings decades of experience to the role. He most recently led the LVMH Fashion Group as chairman and CEO, overseeing brands like:
- Celine
- Givenchy
- Kenzo
- Loewe
- Marc Jacobs
- Patou
- Pucci
- Rossimoda
Prior to that, he served as CEO of several iconic LVMH brands, including:
- Christian Dior USA
- Fendi
- Bulgari
In addition to his executive roles, since January 2021, Burke has also chaired the board of directors at Tiffany & Co., one of LVMH’s crown jewel acquisitions.
With this new appointment, Burke becomes the central figure navigating LVMH's growth, diplomacy, and influence in the Western Hemisphere’s ever-shifting luxury landscape.
