Handcrafted pewter ring holders by Lucina K, one of the exhibitors in JIS Fall’s inaugural Accessories & Gifts pavilion
This year’s JIS Fall show at the Miami Beach Convention Center is making a move that some in the trade will cheer—and others may question. From Oct. 10–13, the show will debut a curated pavilion of vendors focused on accessories and gifts, a shift that highlights how the industry is broadening its scope beyond jewelry.
The 2024 edition of JIS Fall will feature more than 550 exhibitors across fine and fashion jewelry, lab grown diamonds, silver, jeweler equipment, and other categories. The new Accessories & Gifts pavilion, however, will position the event as more than just a jewelry show—it’s marketed as a “one-stop shop” for retailers preparing for the holiday rush.
Brands in the pavilion will include Allison Wesdorp Design, Hadley Roma, JVW Enterprise, Lucina K, and Santa Fe Stoneworks. Products range from watercolor art of gems and jewelry to pocketknives, phone accessories, and high-end pewter giftware.
In addition to vendor booths, JIS Fall will offer a slate of networking opportunities: a welcome reception on Oct. 10, the Cocktails & Connections party on Oct. 11, and a daily afternoon social in the Galleria lounge. The full schedule is available online.
The move isn’t happening in isolation. With consumer demand increasingly tilting toward lifestyle and accessories, even the JCK show is planning to introduce its own lifestyle area in 2026, spanning gifts, accessories, and more. That event will run May 29–June 1 in Las Vegas.
For JIS, the expansion could cement the show as essential for retailers heading into the holiday season. But it also raises the question: as jewelry fairs diversify into lifestyle and accessories, will the core identity of jewelry risk being overshadowed? Especially when lab grown diamonds—arguably the industry’s hottest category—are already redefining how consumers shop.
