Diamonds Do Good (DDG) has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of two influential figures—Julia Hackman Chafé and Monica Elias—to its board, aiming to expand its consumer reach and amplify the positive impact of natural diamonds.
Julia Hackman Chafé, a third-generation gemstone dealer, has successfully transitioned into the world of social media, establishing herself as a prominent jewelry and luxury content creator. With over 700,000 Instagram followers, Chafé has become a key voice for natural diamonds, covering high-profile industry events and engaging consumers worldwide.
Monica Elias, CEO of Elias World Media, brings more than two decades of experience as an award-winning video and film producer specializing in brand journalism and television news. Recognized as the Most Innovative Woman of the Year by the Stevie’s Women in Business Awards and named one of the 25 Luxury Women Leaders to Watch in 2025 by Luxury Roundtable, Elias has been instrumental in elevating brands through creative storytelling and global vision.
“Chafé and Elias’s expertise in connecting with consumers will enhance the value of natural diamonds and highlight their positive influence on communities worldwide,” said DDG president Kathy Corey. “Together, we will inspire consumers to feel even better about their diamond purchases.”
As part of its continued mission, DDG will host the 2025 Diamonds Do Good Awards on June 5 in Las Vegas, celebrating the global impact of natural diamonds. With these new board members onboard, the organization is set to reach new heights in promoting the ethical and sustainable benefits of the diamond industry.
