Casio America has promoted company veteran Yusuke Suzuki to president and CEO, effective immediately.
In his new role, Suzuki will lead the watch company’s U.S. operations and set its strategic direction, with an emphasis on strengthening the brand’s market share and accelerating its digital transformation.
Suzuki has worked at Casio for 32 years, heading its divisions in Italy and the U.K. before coming to the United States. In a statement, the company cited Suzuki’s “proven track record of building markets across Europe.”
He takes over from Tomoo Kato, who became Casio America’s CEO and chairman in 2023. Kato is returning to Casio’s headquarters in Tokyo, where he will lead the company’s global compliance efforts.
