Jewellery Technology Research (JTR) has named Stanley Zale chief strategy officer for North America, according to a LinkedIn post.
JTR is a Turkish company that manufactures the Reveal series of diamond detectors and owns grading labs in Istanbul and Shenzhen, China.
In his new role, Zale will help JTR forge partnerships in the United States and Canada. He will also continue to serve as a consultant for Hill & Co.
Zale—the grandson of Morris B. Zale, founder of the jeweler now known as Zale’s—served as vice president of diamonds and gemstones at Stuller for 17 years, until 2023. Prior to Stuller, he worked for famed diamantaire Louis Glick.
