Marlo Laz Fine Jewelry
by Jesse Marlo Lazowski
Jesse Marlo Lazowski is the founder and creative force behind Marlo Laz, a New York-based fine jewelry brand known for its talismanic designs and positive messaging. She launched her first jewelry company at just 22 years old in 2012, and by 2014, she rebranded to Marlo Laz—growing from trunk shows to a boutique in NYC’s West Village. With early experience working for Cynthia Rowley and learning from her father’s business, Lazowski combines entrepreneurial savvy with a deeply personal design ethos.
Lazowski’s designs are infused with joy, hope, and meaning. Her signature Porte Bonheur charms—often featuring hand-painted French phrases like “I bring good fortune”—blend colored gemstones, diamonds, and bespoke typography. Inspired by her family’s resilience as Holocaust survivors, her work aims to spread light, gratitude, and self-belief. Each piece serves as a wearable token of positivity, encouraging wearers to embrace their inner strength and shine.
Growing up in Connecticut surrounded by a close-knit, creative family, Lazowski developed an early appreciation for art and entrepreneurship. Her studies in Paris and travels to over 40 countries deeply influenced her aesthetic, incorporating French language and multicultural motifs into her designs. Despite entering the industry with no formal training, she trusted her intuition and built a brand celebrated by figures like Beyoncé and Sarah Jessica Parker—and honored with awards including the Connecticut Women’s Hall of Fame Spotlight award.
