Isabella Hewitt Jewellry
by Isabella Hewitt
Isabella Hewitt is a London-based fine jewelry designer who launched her eponymous brand in late 2024. With a rich academic background including degrees in philosophy and law from the University of Bristol, and specialized studies in art history at Oxford and gemology at Gem-A, Hewitt brings intellectual depth and technical expertise to her craft. Her professional experience includes roles at Christie’s, Garrard, and Stephen Webster, where she worked with extraordinary stones and refined her understanding of high jewelry design and craftsmanship.
Hewitt’s debut collection, Reveries, draws deeply from her bohemian childhood split between London and her father’s Provencal olive mill. The natural landscapes of southern France—gnarled olive trees, twisting vines, and rocky terrain—are echoed in her organic, sculptural forms. Inspired by postmodern design and Victorian charms, her pieces like the Doux rings and Roue earrings feature fluid, convex-concave surfaces with no flat planes, embodying a dreamlike blend of art, nature, and memory.
Each piece Hewitt creates is infused with personal narrative and emotional resonance, particularly tied to her father, who passed away during the development of her collection. Her work is a tribute to their shared moments bead shopping in Soho and exploring Brighton’s Lanes. Combining philosophical reflection with artisanal excellence, Hewitt aims to create jewelry that transcends trends—meaningful, lasting treasures that carry stories and connect wearers to a deeper sense of beauty and belonging.
