Vicenzaoro January 2025 has once again solidified its position as the ultimate international hub for the jewelry industry, drawing an unprecedented number of brands and attendees from across the globe.
Organized by the Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), this year’s event showcased 1,300 brands and welcomed participants from 145 countries, surpassing previous international attendance records. Key visitor groups hailed from Turkey, the United States, Germany, Spain, and Greece, with emerging interest from regions like North Korea and Australia.
A Global Platform for CollaborationVicenzaoro remains a premier gathering point for the entire jewelry supply chain, from cutting-edge technology to high-end luxury pieces. Corrado Peraboni, CEO of IEG, emphasized the success of expanding the group’s global reach, driving a surge in international participation. Meanwhile, Matteo Farsura, head of IEG’s gold and jewelry division, highlighted the event’s role in fostering industry dialogue and supporting the next generation of jewelers, with 650 students and trade associations in attendance.
Industry Growth and InnovationThe Italian jewelry market continues to thrive, with Istat reporting a 5.8% revenue increase in the first 10 months of 2024. Exports surged by 7.2%, outpacing domestic growth at 3.0%. Sustainability and ESG initiatives were at the forefront of discussions, with key industry leaders such as CIBJO, Legor, and Trendvision Jewellery + Forecasting leading debates on the future of ethical sourcing and technological advancements.
What’s Next for Vicenzaoro?Running alongside the T.Gold jewelry technology showcase and the VO Vintage watch exhibition, Vicenzaoro January delivered a comprehensive industry experience. Looking ahead, IEG is planning major expansions at the Expo Centre, integrating T.Gold into the main Vicenzaoro exhibition space by 2026.
IEG’s global footprint continues to grow, with upcoming events such as OROAREZZO in May, SIJE in Singapore in July, and Vicenzaoro September.
