Tyla Stuns MTV VMAs In Vintage Chanel And Pandora Jewels

· Fashion

Tyla dipped into the high-fashion archives for her 2025 MTV VMAs look.

The "Push 2 Start" singer turned a vintage Chanel shirt into a dress and shimmered in stacks of Pandora jewels when she arrived on the MTV VMAs 2025 red carpet at the UBS Arena in New York on Sunday, Sept. 7.

First seen on supermodel Claudia Schiffer on the runway during the Chanel Haute Couture show in 1992 as part of Paris Fashion Week's spring/summer 1993 shows, the cream top features black trim and gold chain detailing.

The 23-year-old singer paired the vintage designer piece, which barely grazed her hips, with black briefs to avoid any wardrobe malfunctions during the night.

Dress aside, Tyla's look was all about her accessories, wearing layers upon layers of Pandora Talisman chains that hung from her neck in various lengths with charms in an assorted shapes and sizes.

The chart-topping artist, who doubles as a Pandora brand ambassador, further decked her wrist with stacks from the brand. She slipped on the link bracelet, studded bracelet, clasp bracelet and the studded slider bracelet, in addition to a number of Pandora rings.

Tyla also wore coordinating chains around her waist, which dropped with gold medallion charms in numerous tiers. She also wore ankle bracelets that matched, too, in addition to large gold hoop earrings.

For her glam, the "Water" singer — who wore a short, black bob hairstyle with a deep side part— kept her makeup natural with a soft smokey eye and a long lash. She also rocked a green manicure and completed her look with black, pointed toe Christian Louboutin pumps.

Tyla earned two nominations at the MTV VMAs 2025: best afrobeats and best choreography for "Push 2 Start." She took home the award for best afrobeats for her song, "Push 2 Start."

"It's just a blessing to be here and winning another award," she said upon winning.

Last year, the South African star took home the award for the same category. She won for her global hit, "Water."

Lady Gaga, who is slated to perform during the night, is the most nominated artist of the night with 12 awards, including Video of the Year and Artist of the Year. She's followed by the likes of Bruno Mars, Kendrick Lamar, ROSÉ and Sabrina Carpenter.

Other nominees include Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, Billie Eilish, Charli xcx, Bad Bunny, Doechii, Ed Sheeran, Jelly Roll, Miley Cyrus and Tate McRae.
