Nadine Tacorian Arzerounian says she’s not a “girlie girl,” so when she was designing a new flower-inspired collection for Tacori, her family’s jewelry brand, she wanted to create a floral that felt like something she would wear.
Arzerounian, who is Tacori’s head of design, and her team concentrated on one particular flower—the dahlia—deconstructing it down to a single petal.
She thought about the idea of growth, which is symbolized by the flower, and about whom she credits for her personal growth: her mother, her grandmother, and her “mom tribe,” the group of women she has met through her children. Those relationships helped Arzerounian through the coronavirus pandemic and continue to provide support in everyday situations, she says, adding that she feels the women’s constant love.
“These designs are a tribute to that evolution—a layering of beauty, support, and self-discovery,” Arzerounian says of Tacori’s new Dahlia collection.

Dahlia’s 20 pieces range in price from $1,690 for the Petal diamond pavé pendant to $79,990 for the 9.77 ct. Multi Petal diamond necklace. Tacori started showing the collection to media, influencers, and retailers in late April, then brought it to the Couture jewelry show in Las Vegas. It will be available in showrooms now and into the fall, Arzerounian says.
“The Dahlia collection has been so warmly received. We’re thrilled to see how its bold, intricate design is resonating, and our retail partners are just as excited to welcome it into their stores,” she says.
Each Dahlia piece is handmade at Tacori’s Los Angeles–area design studios, where Arzerounian has a workspace next to her father’s and brother Paul’s. Arzerounian’s area has a chandelier and other glam decor, to make it stand out.

Dahlia’s most sentimental design is the pair of Multi Petal diamond huggies, which Arzerounian modeled after earrings her grandmother wore. They may have been a classic 1980s chunky style, Arzerounian says with a laugh, but they were emblems of love, as her grandfather made them for her grandmother to wear.
To Arzerounian, the Multi Petal earrings tell a story of of family, legacy, and luxury. With interwoven petals and cascading pavé diamonds, the earrings also show the balance she achieved in representing a delicate flower within sculptural jewelry.
The designer hopes women gravitate toward Dahlia jewelry for its beauty but also because it symbolizes strength—the collection is a tribute to how we need other people to survive and how we collectively can bloom, says Arzerounian.
Tacori also is introducing new bridal jewelry, with wider bands and larger center stones to match what today’s couples are shopping for, Arzerounian says. A highlight is the Cigar Band Solitaire, a contemporary take on the engagement ring, available in 4 mm or 6 mm width.
“We’re seeing couples move away from the traditional minimal look and lean into bold, expressive pieces that tell a unique story,” Arzerounian says.
