Samsung is considering developing jewelry “wearables” powered by artificial intelligence, Won-joon Choi, chief operating officer for its mobile experience division, told CNN earlier this month.

Choi said these devices could let users access information quicker, without looking at their phone.
“We believe [they] should be wearable,” he said. “We are looking at all kinds of possibilities.
“What do you wear?” he added. “Glasses, earrings… necklaces, watches, and rings.”
Choi said the tech giant also is “working on glasses, but some people do not want to wear glasses because they change their look. So we are also exploring other types of devices.”
He noted that any new wearables would be considered companions to phones, similar to smartwatches.
CNN pointed out that Samsung may not be the only tech company interested in designing new AI “wearables”—Jony Ive, the former chief designer for Apple, who helped created the Apple Watch, has been working with OpenAI, the company that produces ChatGPT.
