Pomellato International Womens Day 2025 Campaign

· Discovery

Every year on 8 March, the world marks International Women’s Day—a moment to celebrate progress, but also to confront the harsh realities that millions of women still endure. Among the most pressing: domestic violence. One in three women will experience it. Too many suffer in silence.

Jewellery house Pomellato refuses to look away. For the eighth consecutive year, Pomellato’s Pomellato for Women campaign unites high-profile voices to demand action. Jane Fonda, America Ferrera, Mariska Hargitay, Laura Harrier, Olympic athlete Mattia Furlani, and neuroscientist Professor Gianvito Martino join Pomellato CEO Sabina Belli in a powerful stand against society’s complacency.

This year’s campaign delivers a blunt message: silence is complicity. Survivors are not just battling their abusers—they are also fighting the stigma, judgement, and isolation that keep them trapped. “Violence is not a tradition,” says Furlani, a rare male voice in the conversation. “Domestic violence is not a private issue,” adds Martino, cutting through one of the most dangerous misconceptions.

Pomellato issues a clear call to action:

1- Speak out against abuse

2- Listen to survivors

3- Act as social sentinels—alert, compassionate, and unafraid to intervene

“Justice must be clear, visible, and enforced,” demand Ferrera, Harrier, and Hargitay. The campaign closes with a simple but urgent promise: “There is help. There is hope.”

Pomellato isn’t just talking—it’s acting. The brand continues to support CADMI, Milan’s first anti-violence centre, and FreeFrom, a US-based organisation helping survivors rebuild their financial independence.

Domestic violence is not inevitable. It thrives in silence and indifference. Stronger legal protections, support systems, and a shift in societal attitudes can dismantle it.

Founded in Milan in 1967, Pomellato has always been more than a jewellery house. Through Pomellato for Women, it transforms awareness into action. The message is clear: silence is not gold—speaking up is.
