Kraft And Ring Concierge Launch Gold Macaroni Necklace

The childhood craft of making dried pasta necklaces for Mother’s Day is all grown up as the 14-karat gold “Forever Macaroni” necklace.

New York—Ring Concierge has partnered with Kraft Mac & Cheese to take a childhood craft and turn it into a grown-up keepsake for Mother’s Day.

Many may remember stringing dried pasta onto string or yarn to make a necklace as a Mother’s Day gift for the maternal figures in their lives.

Now, the two companies have collaborated to elevate the nostalgic necklace into a chic, grown-up keepsake crafted in 14-karat yellow gold.

The limited-edition “Forever Macaroni” necklace features a single gold macaroni noodle strung on a gold chain and packaged in a custom box with Kraft Mac & Cheese’s signature royal blue color.

Ring Concierge founder Nicole Wegman called the partnership a “fun opportunity” to reimagine a childhood staple through the lens of fine jewelry.

“We wanted to take the playful spirit of the classic macaroni necklace and transform it into a stylish piece that could be worn every day,” she said.

“This collaboration blends nostalgia, luxury and style, [making it] the perfect piece for the fashionable mom or food lover in your life.”

Despite the price of gold currently topping $3,000 an ounce, Ring Concierge and Kraft are coming together to sell The Forever Macaroni for just $25.

Supplies, however, are not unlimited.

Ring Concierge started selling the necklace Thursday. It is being offered exclusively on the retailer’s website, with a fresh, limited batch of gold macaroni dropping at 12 p.m. Eastern from May 1-6.

While pasta and fine jewelry might seem like an odd pairing, they are not, and Ring Concierge is not the first company to team up to create jewelry for those looking to make that carbohydrate connection.

In January 2024, Barilla brought back its heart-shaped pasta ahead of Valentine’s Day and collaborated with Alison Lou, which created a set of two rings called “Ring-a-Toni” for a special contest.

Prior to that, in 2017, Alison Lou rolled out an entire pasta-themed collection called “Mama Mia,” which the brand still sells.

Delicacies Jewelry, which makes “tasteful jewelry for food lovers,” also did a partnership with Barilla and sells pasta jewelry in all shapes, alongside dumplings, butter, baguettes, pickles, and more.
