Jewelers Mutual, a leading insurer for the jewelry industry, has added industry veteran Dana J. Lorberg to its board of directors. With over 35 years at Mastercard International, Lorberg has been instrumental in building and operating the company's global payment network—moving from writing code to leading major commercial operations.
Now semiretired, Lorberg is ready to make a difference beyond payments. "I want to be a strong role model for women and girls," she said. "When we achieve a seat at the table, it’s our responsibility to help the next capable person join us."
Lorberg is also actively involved with organizations that uplift women, including Girls Inc., and serves on several boards, including those of the American Red Cross and Washington University in St. Louis.
Could Dana Lorberg's appointment mark a new era of innovation and diversity for Jewelers Mutual? Stay tuned as she brings her experience to the jewelry industry—and helps pave the way for more women in STEM!
