Jade Trau is expanding her relationship with iconic London department store Harrods, offering a limited-edition capsule of diamond jewels with more carats than Jade Trau typically uses.
Jade Lustig, founder and creative director of Jade Trau, says her fall 2024 pop-up shop within Harrods was a rousing success, and she was eager to work with the jewelry experts there again. The result is a six-piece collection available only in the Harrods store through fall 2025.
“We chose these because they’re a pretty epic representation of Jade Trau and what we love and use in our pieces in diamond shape and silhouette, but in really special, larger-format jewelry items,” Lustig says.
“For example, the Alchemy Riviera features a mix of our four signature diamond shapes—pear, marquise, emerald-cut, and round—with larger carat weights. Each stone is approximately 0.70 carats, compared to our best-selling Riviera necklaces that highlight these diamond shapes at 0.20 carats each.” The Alchemy Riviera necklace has 13 stones totaling 9.17 cts.

Jade Trau’s one-of-a-kind Alchemy drop earrings for Harrods features one earring in 18k yellow gold and one in platinum, with 2.5 cts. t.w. diamonds (price on request).
This latest venture for Harrods gives Lustig the opportunity to showcase statement-style pieces from her brand, she says. The timing for the collection’s release is also advantageous since many of Harrods’ most significant international clients are in London at the end of the summer season, she notes.
Each piece in the Harrods capsule features the type of contemporary setting that makes Jade Trau jewelry instantly recognizable. And of course there are the diamonds—perfect, imperfect, large, small… Lustig’s eye as a sixth-generation diamantaire is more about finding a stone’s character than its size. “We have a cross section of types and metal colors as well,” she adds.
All the jewelry in the new capsule is made of 18k yellow gold. The Billie bangle, based on Jade Trau’s signature Billie design, is available in 18k rose or white gold as well. It features 1.72 cts. of the brand’s new mixed-shaped cobblestone pavé, which is made up of round, pear, and marquise diamonds.
Lustig describes the bracelet as a heavy and solid silhouette, and says its two-tone design and engraving option make it feel “like a true statement diamond bangle.” She has also created a one-of-a-kind Billie bangle with a satin finish and a 1.52 ct. cushion diamond.
The Harrods summer capsule additionally includes a one-of-a-kind Alchemy pendant with 2.01 ct. cushion-shape diamond; a two-tone pair of drop earrings (see picture above); and a new take on Jade Trau’s toi et moi Sadie ring with a 1.5 ct. pear-shape diamond and a 1.8 ct. Asscher-cut diamond in a platinum basket.
Jade Trau has been continually growing within Harrods since the brand’s initial display—a two-foot pad—in the store. Last fall’s pop-up boutique featured both new pieces (such as the Alchemy heart pendant) and favorite collections like Poppy and Scarlett.
Working with Harrods is part of Jade Trau’s international growth plan. Lustig says she is looking to move into key markets such as France, Germany, the Middle East, and China, and has hired a wholesale director and a global business development and communications director to assist in this expansion.
