Omega has opened a boutique at 44 Newbury St. in Boston, adding to the roster of luxury watchmakers and jewelers on its block, adjacent to the Public Garden.

Coinciding with the store opening, Omega debuted its Aqua Terra 30 mm—the company’s slimmest Master Chronometer to date. Omega celebrated the launches of both the boutique and the collection with a late-June event at Boston’s Institute of Contemporary Art hosted by Oscar-winning actress Ariana DeBose, an Omega ambassador.
Omega’s Newbury Street boutique was designed by Two One Two and built by Hirsch Construction. It features a red gradient facade, and inside stands a 10-foot gold astronaut sculpture—a nod to Omega’s long-standing connection to space exploration. Displays in the store have brushed metal surfaces.

Omega sees the new Boston store as a destination for collectors and first-time buyers alike. It offers the watchmaker’s full product line, from classic Speedmaster and Seamaster models to the latest arrivals, such as the Aqua Terra 30 mm.
Available in 12 iterations, including steel, two-tone, and full-gold, the Aqua Terra 30 mm is powered by new caliber 8750 and 8751 movements, which meet Omega’s strict Master Chronometer certification for accuracy, magnetic resistance, and power reserve. While the case size leans traditionally feminine, the model’s restrained design and technical merit have already drawn interest across a wider audience.

At the launch event, DeBose wore the new Aqua Terra in Moonshine gold with a green dial and diamond bezel. She spoke about the value of timekeeping and craftsmanship—ideas central to Omega and its new line.
The evening also featured an immersive performance under the theme “My Little Secret” (also the theme of the Aqua Terra 30 mm campaign), with characters interacting with guests during dinner leading up to the presentation of the new watches.
