The Hong Kong Jewelry and Jade Manufacturers Association (HKJJA) has announced its new leadership for the 37th term (2024-2026). Chen Weili, chairman of Henghe Jewelry, has been appointed as the new president, while the former president, Zhang Jingyou, who is also the chairman of Dabao Jewelry, will serve as the honorary president and board member.
Chen Weili brings over 20 years of experience in the jewelry industry, overseeing operations at Henghe Jewelry Group. His leadership will focus on sales and marketing, product development, investment and financing activities, and business expansion. Chen is also the vice president of the Hong Kong Diamond Association.
Other prominent members of the new board include Wei Yonglong from Meixing Jewelry, who will serve as the perpetual honorary president, and Liu Weiguang from Dongyi Jewelry, who will take on the honorary chairman and board member roles. Xian Yaan from Wanya Jewelry has been appointed as chairman and board member.
The vice presidents of the board include Liu Jiajian from Yibao Jewelry Manufacturing, Lu Qiaokun from Yongsheng Manufacturing, Zhou Junda from Junji Jewelry, Gan Zhongming from Jinfengxing Manufacturing, Zheng Yanghuifen from Liya Jewelry, Chen Xueying from Xuanyi Jewelry, He Peiji from Zhongcheng Jewelry, and Li Minghui from Global Jewelry.
Since its founding in 1965, HKJJA has played a vital role in promoting the export of Hong Kong’s jewelry and jade products. The association currently has 340 member companies.
