🎉 Diamond Pioneer Celebrated for Decades of Impact
Govind Dholakia, founder of Shree Ramkrishna Exports (SRK), received the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award from Diamonds Do Good at the JCK Las Vegas 2025 gala. This global nonprofit recognizes leaders creating positive social change in the diamond sector.
Dholakia’s journey from a small Gujarati village to global diamond industry titan spans over six decades. Beyond pioneering ethical and technical excellence at SRK, he’s known for trailblazing sustainable manufacturing and philanthropic leadership. His son, Shreyans Dholakia, accepted the award, honoring the family legacy and its impact on India’s diamond community.
Notably, both SRK diamond crafting centers in Surat are Net Zero Energy certified—the first of their kind globally—and boast the world’s lowest carbon emissions per carat.
The SRK Knowledge Foundation, also celebrating its 10th anniversary, has supported millions via education, healthcare, and rural empowerment programs.
