Las Vegas jewelry week was a colorful affair. Aquamarine and watermelon tourmaline were ubiquitous, as were hard stones—malachite, in particular. Below, we highlight three collections that struck a chord with us.
Jade Ruzzo’s Gloria Collection
Jade Ruzzo named her daughter Gloria after her great aunt Gloria. The designer had that family tradition of passing down names in mind when she designed her new Gloria collection (“Just as a name is passed down, so is a cherished piece of jewelry,” Ruzzo says). The highlight of the 18k gold line of cocktail rings, collar necklaces, and statement earrings is a one-of-a-kind gold, emerald, and diamond collar necklace that incorporates a deco motif borrowed from Indian designs and filtered through Russo’s contemporary lens.

“This piece has been my true honor to bring to life,” Ruzzo says. “It’s been about 16 months in the making and I’ve learned so much through the journey. I knew that I wanted to focus on the importance of heirloom jewelry and fine jewelry’s place in generational family storytelling. I just couldn’t resist the pull to make a true one-of-a-kind at this grand level.”
NeverNoT’s Travel Collection
Inspired by the idea of luggage as a place to store memories, London-based designer Nina Dzhokhadze introduced her charming line of gold suitcase pendants in 2023, and expanded it this year—quite literally. Her newest piece, the XL suitcase, is made of amazonite and comes on an 80-cm paper clip chain. Likewise, her new Globe brooch, which sits on a diamond-paved suitcase, is the perfect gift for adventurous spirits.

Karina Choudhrie’s Big Splash Circus
Karina Choudhrie’s Big Splash Circus is a children’s book–turned–fine jewelry collection about 12 sea creatures—including Lantern Fish, Crab, Jellyfish, and Starfish—who put on “the greatest show under the sea.” A tale of perseverance and identity, the book, which Choudhrie wrote and illustrated in 2020, comes to life in charms that depict each character doing what they do best—such as the unicycling starfish featured below.
