Back in the 1920s, Gabrielle Chanel revolutionized the beauty industry with the launch of the iconic N°5 fragrance and her exquisite makeup collection. She placed loose powders and lipsticks inside sleek black lacquer boxes, allowing the essence of the products to shine through—redefining elegance and transcending the boundaries of color.
Today, Arnaud Chastaingt, director of the CHANEL watch creative studio, channels Gabrielle Chanel’s artistic vision into horology. Deep black lacquer blends with vibrant reds and soft pink tones, infused with pop art influences. The result is a striking reinterpretation of signature CHANEL collections like J12, Boy·Friend, and Première.
Each piece demonstrates a mastery of artistry—whether through grand fire enamel, transfer and pad printing, floating inlays, miniature paintings, or gold engravings. These watches elevate the DNA of CHANEL cosmetics into wearable jewels of exceptional craftsmanship.
PREMIÈRE CHARMS BLUSH Watch
The Première Blush stands out with its bold black aesthetic and stainless steel bracelet interwoven with black leather. Six dangling charms spell out CHANEL, while the hand-painted finish is reminiscent of the Maison’s nail polish.
PREMIÈRE CUFF BLUSH Bracelet Watch
Crafted in shades inspired by lipstick pinks and reds, the PREMIÈRE CUFF BLUSH delivers a striking monochromatic effect. Its seven-link black-coated stainless steel bracelet interlaces with leather detailing, while the octagonal case and lacquered black dial capture an edgy elegance.
BOY·FRIEND BLUSH Watch
Playful and pop art–inspired, the BOY·FRIEND BLUSH features an adorable portrait of Mademoiselle Chanel blowing a kiss. A gradient pink dial paired with a calfskin strap in pink diamond pattern, lined in black, highlights the pink lacquer bezel. The crown, capped with a rounded black spinel, completes the artistic design.
CODE COCO BLUSH Watch
Echoing CHANEL’s iconic 2.55 handbag, the CODE COCO BLUSH features the recognizable Mademoiselle lock fastening the strap. The embossed CHANEL logo shimmers with an iridescent finish on black leather. Two lacquered dials anchor the design, one adorned with sparkling white diamonds.
J12 Blush Caliber Watch
The J12 BLUSH offers striking monochromatic shades of pink and red across the bezel and hour markers, contrasting beautifully with its black ceramic case. Available in both 33 mm and 38 mm sizes, it is powered by COSC-certified in-house automatic Calibers 12.1 and 12.2, developed in collaboration with Swiss manufacturer Kenissi.

This standout J12 features Gabrielle Chanel herself, depicted in black and white at her vanity. Miniature recreations of her essential makeup items—eyeshadow, powder, and lipstick—shine in silver and pink using intricate transfer techniques. These elements rotate gracefully across the dial, mounted on a spinning activity disc that turns every five minutes.
