Jewelers Mutual Group has named Mike Alexander, who’s worked for the insurer since 2015, as its president.
In his new role, Alexander will develop strategy and expand Jewelers Mutual’s commercial and personal business lines. Scott Murphy remains CEO of the Neenah, Wis.–based company.
Alexander joined Jewelers Mutual as senior vice president and was promoted to chief operating officer in 2022.
Previously, he had served as senior vice president of national sales and strategy at National General Insurance (formerly GMAC) in Winston-Salem, N.C.
Alexander holds a master’s degree in geography and a bachelor of arts in geography and history from the University of Delaware.
