Seattle—Ben Bridge Jeweler has made a new acquisition.
The retailer has acquired Olympic Manufacturing, a full-service jewelry repair and manufacturing company based in Bellevue, Washington.
The price of the acquisition was not disclosed.
The move marks a step towards greater vertical integration, said the jeweler, allowing it to offer improved, speedier, and more customized services to its customers.
“We are thrilled to officially welcome this exceptional team into the Ben Bridge family,” said Lisa Bridge, president and CEO of Ben Bridge Jeweler.
“By bringing their talent and capabilities in-house, we can ensure even more quality control, efficiency, and personal attention for our clients. Their unmatched expertise and dedication to the craft align perfectly with our mission to provide the highest level of service to our customers.”
It will also allow Ben Bridge to expand its business-to-business services, offering manufacturing and repair support to other independent jewelers.
“We are excited to offer our capabilities as a resource,” said Bridge. “We believe that by supporting fellow jewelers in our community, we can build a stronger, more vibrant industry for everyone.”
Ben Bridge has partnered with Olympic Manufacturing for more than 30 years.
Founded in 1975, the family-owned business has “built a stellar reputation” for repairs and custom craftsmanship in the region, said Ben Bridge.
Its suite of services includes CAD design, in-house casting, laser repair, engraving, and full custom jewelry creation.
The Olympic Manufacturing team will continue to operate from its current location, servicing local customers and supporting Ben Bridge’s retail network with custom design and repair offerings.
