
The American Gem Trade Association (AGTA) has elected eight directors to its board.
The appointees will take office in February 2026, the organization said Tuesday. AGTA elected the following members to the board of directors for a three-year term: Ann Barker of Barker & Company; John Bradshaw of John J. Bradshaw; Malinda Daniel of Tim Roark; Bruce Bridges of Bridges Tsavorite; Ravi Jajoo of United Color Gems; and Oren Nhaissi of EMCO Gem. Meanwhile AGTA voted in Jaimeen Shah of Prima Gems USA and Bryan Lichtenstein of 3090 Gems to serve a two-year term. Bridges is in his second year of a three-year presidency.
The following members will continue in their positions on the board: Dudley Blauwet of Dudley Blauwet Gems; Matthew Hopkins of Hopkins Opal; Cynthia Renee Marcusson of Cynthia Renee; Eshvar Kotahwala of Vinod Kotahwala; Ron Rahmanan of Sara Gem Corporation; Tracey Lindwall of Nomad’s Lapidary; and Rohan Agrawal of Shanu G. Jonathan Gad will be leaving after serving on the board for nine years.
Past president Kimberly Collins chaired the nomination committee. AGTA will introduce the board members at the AGTA membership meeting, which will take place during the AGTA GemFair Tucson from February 2 to 6.
